Collaborates with other development staff toachieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and codereviews. . Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation. You will be building solutions from the ground up, starting withinvestigating design approaches, prototyping new solutions, and evaluatingtechnical feasibility. You will be responsible for all aspects of developmentincluding design, development, testing, and maintenance of key systems. Youwill work in a dynamic environment to deliver a forward-looking user experiencewhile maintaining high-quality software. Development responsibilities includeoverall application design and development of critical application componentsusing Angular and Java. Contractors are evaluated for full-time positions asthey become available. Responsibilities: Deliver innovative, engaging web applications using the latest softwaretechnologies. Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while working in a fast-pacedenvironment. Work with business partners and outside vendors to collect and confirmproject business requirements. Collaborate closely with the Product Owners / Scrum Masters/ Developmentteams and stakeholders Identify design problems and devise solid technical solutions. Take smart risks and champion new ideas. Thoroughly understand the requirements and ability to develop detailedsoftware designs. Use best practices and coding standards. Conduct system wide requirement analysis and work effort estimations. Provide accurate and detailed weekly task reports. Skills Required: 4 years of work experience with Java and Angular (TypeScript) technologies. Strong knowledge of Java, including data structures, algorithms, enterprisesystems, and asynchronous architectures. Deep understanding of Angular 10 or newer, and NGRX state managementtechnologies. Deep understanding of web services software architecture and design(REST/SOAP), including security-based implementations. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks, responsiveweb development. Strong analytical skills, detail oriented. Ability to troubleshoot issues andprovide solutions Working experience with agile methodologies (Scrum). Proven ability to work collaboratively, with a team-oriented mindset. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solvingenvironment. Shows initiative and goes above and beyond to assist others as needed. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Experience with data modeling and database programming skills (MS SQLServer). Familiarity with infrastructure systems (servers, systems administration, andUNIX/Linux scripting skills) Understanding of networks, firewalls, load balancers and concepts with theability to provide requirements to infrastructure team as well as providetroubleshooting assistance. Working experience with UML and design patterns. Working knowledge of continuous integration tools: Jenkins, Nexus, JUnit,SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Ant, SVN, GIT.
