Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer/SME Role, Description/Introduction, Responsibilities and Qualifications below: Hybrid: Remote AND up to two days per week in the office in Sterling, VA or Washington, DC. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer/SME Description :Our client is seeking an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer/SME to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. Responsibilities: Design, develop, deploy, and sustain enterprise Oracle Cloud infrastructure (OCI) capabilities including: o Oracle Database platforms including Exadata Cloud Services (CS) o Infrastructure including Network, Compute, and Storage o Cloud Management, Monitoring and Security o Identity Management integrated with Okta o Cost and Resource Management within OCI Support the development OCI capabilities that meet Application and Database requirements for Disaster Recovery of domestic and overseas systems. Collaborate with team members in Engineering, Operations, and Security to develop solutions that meet Federal and Department of State security guidelines. Serve as OCI SME in Technical and Management discussions. Support the development of automation within OCI. Support Transition to Operations activities to include training of Operational personnel in management of OCI services and integration of Monitoring. Basic Qualifications: U.S. citizenship At least one year of experience designing, developing, implementing, and sustaining OCI solutions. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and deployment. Experience working in an Agile development environment and following Scrum methodologies. Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices, including automation, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and continuous integration methodologies. Experience with Oracle database architecture and O&M. Ability to problem-solve individually or with team members. Experience with customer facing efforts. Preferred Qualifications: At least two years of experience with responsibilities similar to those of this position. Advanced OCI (Professional) Certifications. Experience as an OCI Engineer/SME working on federal government projects/programs. Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA (high school diploma or equivalent AND four additional years of experience may substitute for degree); Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Core Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Location: Hybrid: Remote AND up to two days per week in the office in Sterling, VA or Washington, DC. -- Keywords: business analyst access management information technology microsoft Massachusetts Virginia |
