Contract Qualifications/Skills/Abilities: (Not necessary all needed but as many as possible) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Must have at least 8 years of experience with Information Technology. U.S. citizens and those lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Infosys will not sponsor at this time. Excellent understanding of wireless and WLAN Protocols, WIFI6, WIFI6E, WIFI7. Thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: Ethernet, STP, RSTP, 802.1q, 802.11b/g/n/a/ac/ax/be Technical experience directly working with Wi-Fi / RF in computer architecture and data communications. Adept at performing RvR and RvO based testing and analysis. Must possess a deep understanding of the physical layer of wireless communication, including the modulation and coding schemes, channel coding, and signal processing techniques. Familiarity with industry standard Wi-Fi test tools like Veri wave, IXIA Chariot and packet debuggers like Wireshark, Omnipeek and Savius. Analyze packet captures based on management frames, WMM, QOS, 802.11 Client Authentication Process, IFS, etc. Experienced in testing and validating Wi-Fi security protocols like WPA3, WPA2, EAPS- TTLS, 802.1x, AAA, and RADIUS. Proficient in managing diverse client profiles with 802.11kv technology. Analyze wireless signals across different frequencies using a spectrum analyzer and validate spectral properties. Comfortable in some scripting language of choice Must be able to work independently Strong background in designing or extending existing test frameworks Excellent Debugging skills & experience troubleshooting Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for analysis, and automation Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Provide mentorship to team members by sharing knowledge and experience, providing guidance and feedback, and helping them develop their skills. Understanding of and experience with the full product development lifecycle, including functional and technical specifications, product use cases, user stories, implementation, QA processes, deployment and maintenance Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams.
