Position: : Guidewire PolicyCenter Location: Columbus, OH DAY ONE SITE Duration: 12+ Months Contract Need Passport number Along with Submission. We are looking for H1 B candidates from Third-party Vendors Experience (Years): 08+ Competencies: Good skills in Guidewire PC, GOSU, and Java Oops concepts. Role Description: 1) Develop and maintain the GOSU language application code within the Guidewire Claim Center application. 2) Plan, design, develop, modify, debug, and evaluate moderately complex software for functional areas. 3) Analyze existing software or work to formulate logic for moderately complex new systems. Understand the interface requirements and configuration architecture. 4) Create a Design Document for the integration. 5) Configure the application points as per specification using Guidewire or J2EE components Perform code review, shakedown tests, and deliver Work in Agile environments 6) Ability to work on Guidewire Plug-ins, Messaging, and API 7) Strong capabilities in relational databases, message queues, and batch systems Essential Skills: 1) 2+ years of development experience in Guidewire Claims Center and ability with Java programming. 2) 3+ years of experience with the design, development, modification, and deployment of software, including object-oriented programming concepts. 3) Configure screen layouts including creation of new screens (PCFs). 4) Good working knowledge of Guidewire Configuration (Mandatory) and Integration work areas. 5) Expertise in configuring and developing several areas of Policy Center (Policy Transactions/Job Configuration Experience implementing multiple Personal LOBs Product Modeling, Quoting, Rating Management, Forms Management, Policy Revisioning, UW Authority, Account Management, Batch Framework and Policy Center Administration). 6) Experience in configuring operational and administration-related parameters such as roles and permissions. 7) Experience working within a development team using Agile methodology to deliver User stories.- Prior experience performing minor and major Guidewire software upgrades. 8) Guidewire Policy Center Implementation Maintenance Support project experience. 9) Experience in Personal lines of Insurance business: General Liability or Professional Liability will be a plus. Education: At least a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.
