Title:Mainframe Consultant (Cobol & IDMS) Location:Remote Duration:6 Months Client:HCLTech No of Positions:2 (1 Cobol strong & 1 IDMS strong) Job Description: 6-8 Years of experience for monitoring IBM and Unisys mainframe Technical knowledge of Mainframes (Cobol, CICS) along with IDMS Database. Perform weekly backups on all Mainframe systems. Perform nightly checks to ensure all database stability on Windows, Unix and Linux servers. Good Communication skills, Coordinate conference calls with technical support and outside vendors. Provide Tier-1 hardware and application support. Work directly with vendors and customers for the support of Mainframe Monitor and execute batch processing on multiple OS platforms using line commands.
