Job Detail: Job Title: IT PROJECT MANAGER Location: Timonium, MD (Only Local) Duration: 06+ Months Contract Job Description: This job will have the following responsibilities: Manage IT projects, initiation through closeout, as assigned and within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule and objectives. Provide leadership for IT project team members and the Project Management process. Position generally used for projects requiring integration of multiple functional organizations. Works independently with only general direction. Responsible for the pursuit of cost reductions and maximizing value on all assigned projects. Responsible for project communications and required negotiations with internal and external organizations. Directly accountable for the management of large projects. Qualifications & Requirements: A PMP Certification is required for this position. Bachelor's degree (technical or management discipline) with at least 6 years experience, a minimum of 3 years of which have been as a project team member Need an experienced Project Manager that can complete general PM duties developing and implementing a project we are working on. This is an IT/Finance project that will reside in the ServiceNow platform, so ServiceNow experience is desired. In addition, any experience in the financial management plug in to ServiceNow is a plus. Updating project status in the ServiceNow project reporting area is a must do as well.
