JAVA developer with DevOps Hybrid in Alpharetta, GA ( Vendor is looking for local candidates only No / No -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Description Looking for a strong candidate with JAVA experience in themigration of Onprem application to Azure cloud. Able to learn and understandthe Onprem JAVA Applications and help bridge the gap of migrating to the Azurecloud and eventually writing JAVA code to be deployed into the cloud. Therewill be some daytime OnCall support needed during daytime hours as onpremapplications are migrated to the cloud. An excellent opportunity to help bridgethe gap on developing and implement coding fixes on a complex application ontothe Azure cloud platform. Responsibilities: 1. Working with diverse technical and non-technical teams, including Development, QA, IT Operations, Customer Operations and Project Management teams. 2. Collaborate with other developer team members to ensuring development and operations work is delivered in full and on time (agile/product sprints) Delivery of resilient application stacks via Infrastructure as Code, and some DevOps practices. 3. Support InfoSec activities and ensure security best practices are followed. 4. Diagnosis and resolution of complex system and application issues. 5. Write and maintain systems / application documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. 6. Some Monitoring and on-going support of critical, high revenue business applications. Requirements 1. BS Engineering/Computer Science or Equivalent Required 2. Experience with Java 8 and above. 3. Experience debugging and identifying fixes/causes of prod issues 4. Experience with Spring Boot, and Spring Framework (web/ws/MVC/security/data/test). 5. Experience with SOAP/REST Webservices. 6. Experience with App servers (tomcat, JBoss, WildFly). 7. Experience with creating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab. 8. Experience with SQL(JPA, Hibernate, complex SQL query). 9. Experience with highly available deployment and release methodologies. 10. Project-level leadership and Object Oriented design methodology experience 11. Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills 12. Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time 13. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly responsible 14. Unit Testing using Mock concepts 15. Must be a faster learner and multi-tasker 16. The overall experience of at least 6-7 years. 17. Azure certificate or any cloud experience is a plus 18. Hands-on experience of Linux and Windows server including support and troubleshooting a plus 19.
