| From: Yogesh, StellentIT [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Senior GCP Architect Location: Remote Interview: Phone + Skype Job description: Job Description MUSTs 5+ years with Cloud architecture, migrations, and networking Ideal resource is VMware centric or is experienced enough to enable Google VMware Engine (GCVE) deployments Migrate VMware workloads to GCVE, hybrid cloud connectivity with HCX and NSX-T, etc. GCP Networking experience (VPC, Firewall, Load Balancer) and 3rd party appliances for example; Palo Alto, F5, etc. Experienced with architecting and building enterprise level GCP landing zone Familiar with a mix of GCP services and tools like Google App Engine (GAE), Google Compute Engine (GCE), Google Cloud Functions (GCF) Familiar with a mix of Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL (Oracle/Postgres), Cloud Filestore Be the lead technical SME for the clients GCP program Guide them to meet technical and business requirements, designing sub and application level environments, advising on migrations throughout the project lifecycle Create testable code, build GCP based cloud native solutions and mentor team Articulate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences History of GCP solutions architecture across multiple projects, served on an Agile team Be a self-starter who works independently PLUS: Experience with VMware SDDC and traditional VMware vSphere Knowledgeable of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Kubernetes Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, etc. Great communication skills with presentations, collaboration, partnering with stakeholders Understand business requirements, articulate purpose of solutions and why certain tools and frameworks were chosen, while delivering enterprise level strategic architectural design Take responsibility on a complex project for outcomes, code and engineering quality |
