The position requires collaboration with both business customers and the technical team to identify, design, and implement Oracle E-Business changes aimed at enhancing business processes and effectiveness. Responsibilities: Collect and assess business requirements, determining approaches to meet them using Oracle capabilities and customizations. Formulate recommendations, business cases, and estimates for new functionalities and changes to enhance business processes and application performance. Develop, test, and implement new Oracle capabilities, customizations, and configurations. Investigate issues related to Oracle E-Business Suite functionality, data, and interfaces, implementing resolutions. Collaborate with business customers to identify improvements, alternatives, or new capabilities for organizational benefit. Document and estimate specific requests for new capabilities, assisting in assessing their value to the organization. Document Oracle Business Suite configuration, support information, and customizations following Metro IT standard application methodology. Work with Metro infrastructure, database, and other application development teams to ensure proper unit, system, user acceptance, and performance testing. Assist in the orientation and training of Oracle end users/customers. Mentor other IT team members appropriately to facilitate their professional growth.
