As a GCP SRE, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud technologies, particularly GKS (Google Kubernetes Service), and possess expertise in Python, Terraform, Bash, and Ansible. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters using GKS, ensuring efficient deployment and orchestration of containerized applications. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Terraform, Bash, and Ansible to streamline operational tasks and enhance system reliability. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration of applications. Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely response and resolution to production incidents. Collaborate with development teams to promote best practices in application design for scalability, reliability, and performance. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role. Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services, with a focus on GKS (Google Kubernetes Service). Very strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages, especially Python. Solid experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources. Proficient in automation tools like Bash scripting and Ansible for configuration management. Deep understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools for automated software delivery. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote and cross-functional environment.
