Operating in an Agile development environment, you are responsible for architecting, designing, leading, and delivering transformative technology solutions to enhance the efficiency and safety of the healthcare industry. Your expertise spans all layers of application and platform development, and you bring a wealth of knowledge in industry best practices, technologies, and processes. Tech Stack Microservices GCP Java Tanzu Spring -based environment is the next gen side of the world Microsoft as a whole is a plus .NET Dev is a plus Responsibilities: Research, analyze, design, propose, and deliver solutions aligning with business and technology strategies Document and publish technology and infrastructure reference architecture, standards, roadmaps, and lifecycle management. Define and rationalize technology and security infrastructure supporting application solutions/tools. Provide architecture consultations, technical guidance, and mentorship to engineers, designers, and developers. Effectively communicate and lead teams toward future state architectures, identifying and mitigating architectural risks. Assess and enhance existing system architecture in collaboration with technical staff. Own technical plans, architecture, techniques, and outcomes related to scalability, stability, performance, security, and operational insight. Identify, assess, and communicate risks associated with the technology roadmap. Monitor and analyze industry technology trends, incorporating relevant insights into architecture designs. Collaborate with other architects to create standards, patterns, and reference architecture. Engage in proof-of-technology activities. Evaluate and ensure alignment with technology standards, patterns, and reference architecture. Skills and Qualifications: Over 10 years of custom software development, with at least 4 years in a lead developer or architect role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solid work ethic. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with expertise in at least one. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with RESTful web services. Proven experience working with all layers of application development. Significant experience with distributed computing and message-based systems. Comfortable working with open-source technologies. Proficiency in data modeling and API design, with expertise in application/platform security. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Tanzu, and familiarity with SaaS integrations in custom software development. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent working experience.
