Performance Test Engineer 12+Month Contract Hybrid in McLean, VA Client is seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 7 years of experience.The role involves leading Agile performance testing projects, scripting with LoadRunner/Performance Center and JMeter, and proficiency in monitoring tools like Dynatrace. Responsibilities: Lead performance testing in Agile projects, emphasizing in-sprint testing and CI/CD (DevOps). Develop test scripts using LoadRunner/Performance Center and JMeter. Utilize monitoring and analysis skills with Dynatrace. Test SOA Web Services, Restful services, and AMQ messaging applications. Work with JSON, regular expressions, and analyze production logs using Splunk/Dynatrace. Implement service virtualization through SmartStub and demonstrate proficiency in Kubernetes. Collaborate on projects involving RedHat OpenShift Container Platform, ELK, and AWS technologies. Requirements: 7 years of hands-on experience in performance testing with LoadRunner and JMeter scripting. Proficient in Dynatrace and monitoring tools for performance analysis. Experience in creating Kibana dashboards and familiarity with CICD pipelines. Strong understanding of Agile methodology, CI/CD (DevOps), and Cloud technologies. Knowledge of RedHat OpenShift Container Platform, ELK, and AWS is advantageous. Ability to script and test AMQ messaging applications and work with JSON and regular expressions. Solid understanding of Java/J2EE and SQL query creation and manipulation. Familiarity with service virtualization through SmartStub and Kubernetes. Previous experience in testing SOA Web Services and Restful services.
