Role: healthcare Business analyst (in-person Interview) Location: Richmond, VA (DBHDS) Duration: 11 Months 2 Days ON SITE Required each week Local candidates preferred No parking provided for contractors but there are monthly/weekly parking lots near by Skills: Gathering business requirements from stakeholders Required 8 Years Gathering, compiling, evaluating, and interpreting complex information Required 8 Years Capturing key elements during meetings and brainstorming sessions, generate group member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals Required 8 Years Presenting work results and recommendations in a written report or a verbal presentation Required 8 Years Expert level skill in MS Excel, Vision, and PowerPoint Required 8 Years Excellent verbal and written communications Required 8 Years Gathering and analyzing requirements related to data management, reports, and analytics Required 4 Years Some experience with writing SQL queries Required 2 Years Experience creating PowerBI reports and dashboards Required 2 Years Experience with health information systems, such as Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Highly desired 2 Years Experience with HL7 message standards Highly desired 1 Years Description: ABOUT THE ROLE The Data Exchange Program will fulfill one of the top priorities of the Commonwealths behavioral health strategic plan, which is to deliver transactional and secure statewide data exchange for behavioral health data. This position will be the b usiness analyst for multiple component projects of the program. This position will coordinate extensively with DBHDS and partner stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and collect and analyze data to be exchanged between DBHDS and partners. Experience with healthcare data management, Electronic Health Record systems, and data integration projects is highly desirable. Position will be hybrid remote with 2 days minimum required on-site at DBHDS office in Richmond. Parking will be in public lots with a daily rate.
