Hybrid Role Job Purpose: The Integration Architect creates the strategy and architecture for integrating multiple systems and microservices. They lead the design and implementation of these solutions working with cloud solution architects, infrastructure, and application teams Key Job Elements: Minimum duties and responsibilities: Create the strategy and architecture for integrating multiple systems and microservices; Lead the design and implementation of these solutions working with cloud solution architects, infrastructure, and application teams; Conduct design and architecture reviews, gap analysis and assessment of integration implementations; Design and implement testing strategies for middleware and integration solutions; Perform testing on middleware and integration solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability; Create and maintain formal data structures, data description and data architecture related to system integrations; this can include data models, data definitions (logical, physical, and conceptual), data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, etc. Data architecture comprises of topics such as business semantics, meta data management, meta data workflow management and data modeling; Understand the business requirements, system functionality and business processes to design, implement, and maintain appropriate integration capabilities and data design; Architect, design and implement small to large scale integration solutions utilizing technologies suited for the task; Design specifications and develop data strategy and high-level data integration architecture documentation; Build data mappings, providing the means of system integration by considering the target as well as the source; Select systems and capabilities to meet business data requirements, evaluate new techniques for improved functionality. Education / Training BS degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; 5+ years of experience with systems integration or related field. Qualifications and Experience Solid experience developing and documenting integration architectures; Solid experience developing software utilizing various technologies including PHP or similar languages; Solid experience building middleware solutions using PHP;SQL;PL-SQL; Experience working with messaging technologies is a plus (amqp); Experience with any ETL/ELT tools a plus (Cliq Replicate/Matillion); Accounting knowledge is a plus as well as any exposure to ERP systems (Axapta, D365, Infor LN); Reporting system knowledge is a plus (Power BI, Cognos BI/TM1/Controller; CI/CD integration with Jenkins, Git and Jira. Preferred Skills: Experience with any of the following technologies: Javascript, PHP, Python, Oracle, Sql Server, Snowflake, and Azure. Essential and Physical Activities Functions: Strength Position typically involves work in a standard office environment. Occasional standing and walking. Occasional light to medium lifting; Motion Position regularly requires standard repetitive motions and hand/eye coordination associated with office communications. Constant sitting, frequent walking, occasional standing; Vision/Hearing Requirements Constant verbal communications, including both talking and hearing; Work Environment Position is consistent with standard office environment; Emotional Demands High level of responsibility; high sense of urgency.
