Technical Program Manager

Location: Onsite -- Philadelphia, PA

Rate: $60/hr on C2C

Client: Comcast

Technical Program Manager III

Goal: New device software program manager to complete bring up port integration software trials and launch of the BCOM XiOne in the US

Qualifications:

experience as a Program Manager preferably with 2 years of experience as an engineer in a technical domain

Experience working in Agile development Environments

Experience in Video/Embedded domain (preferably with Set Top Box/ Broadband domain)

Understanding of Program Management processes and methodologies for governance and tracking

Experience in working with third-party vendors such as SOC vendors and system

integrators

Experience tracking and translating engineering discussions into actionable

engineering tasks and next steps

Experience working with various cross-functional teams to deliver projects

Proficient in productivity and project management tools: Jira, Confluence, MS -Office,

Proven independent problem-solving and risk management skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities:

Drive user stories and defects via agile monthly sprint process

Manage and prioritize the team s backlog, own scrum meetings, Dev/QA assignments

Track schedule against the roadmap, track daily actions, host status calls, record and distribute technical meeting minutes

Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to analyze areas of risk and establishes contingency plans

Identify process gaps, initiate process improvement and ensure process adherence by the team

Maintain communication with project stakeholders, internal leadership, cross-functional teams and external partners/vendors.

Maintain all Technical documentations and trainings.

Escalate risks and issues

Drive action items resolution and track for completion.

Facilitate Team retrospective and allow the team to continuously evolve and improve.

Responsible for each phase of device deployment including initial Software, Trials, and eventual field deployment within an extremely aggressive timeframe.

Deliver detailed metrics dashboards, status reports/presentations, and host demos/trainings/Trials

Executive readouts to the Senior Management
