[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role / Title: AGE-Sr. Systems Analyst System Requisition ID: 727967 Client Name: State of Ohio Hybrid 2 days per week (40% onsite) in Columbus OH Complete Description: Role will be responsible for technology systems, processes, and flowcharts including but not limited to creation of architecture diagrams, and system flow documentation. Creates information system documentation to identify business and functional requirements; coordinates activities for requirements gathering and analyzing information regarding information technology systems: performs impact analyses to identify system and process interdependencies; provides data-driven advice on the performance of information systems and how to grow and expand agency services; collects and analyzes data to provide informed options for decision making; attends and contributes in design review sessions; decomposes complex processes; evaluates vendor recommendations to meet defined business requirements Creates Information Technology systems, processes, and flowcharts; creates architecture diagrams to detail the configuration of servers, databases, and network connections for current and future systems models; analyzes, models, and interprets data using different tools and techniques; identifies the root cause of issues through troubleshooting; assists in software development lifecycle activities including projected cost, time, and effort estimations. Collaborates and communicates effectively with customers and team members; Works collaboratively with the service delivery team (e.g., projects managers, business analysts) to develop project plans and documentation (e.g., program and/or application source codes, uses cases, in-line code comments, test strategy, and test execution, data migration plans, including the validation of migrated data); takes initiative and implement innovative ideas to improve the business and Software development process To be successful, the ideal candidate will have direct experience with the following: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Analyze and document current business processes and workflows. Creating detailed functional and technical specifications in the form of User Stories & User guides. Have worked with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Developed and executed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality. Identified and reported defects, tracked issues to resolution, and verified fixes. Participated in project planning, estimation, and risk assessments. Provided support during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase. Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business needs. Proven experience as a Business Analyst Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in documenting business processes and requirements. Experience with QA methodologies and tools. Experience in creating flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio. Experience in Agile methodologies and tools. Experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps. Knowledge of test automation tools is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
