From: Sushmita Soni, Sonitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi Hope you are doing well , We are looking for L3 Storage as a Service Operational Support , please let me know if you are looking for this role and send me your updated resume also Job Description Job Title L3 Storage as a Service Operational Support Job Location Boston MA (Remote some travel) W2 Role Duration - 6 Months+ Mode Of Interview - Phone/Skype Note - Need LinkedIn Job Description Job Title: L3 Storage as a Service Operational Support Job Location : Remote - Site visit(s) in beginning of engagement to meet team and key stakeholders - Full time 7:00am to 4:00pm CT (Central Time) US Hours Mon-Fri along with on-call off hours and on weekend only for critical issues. These roles can be remote. May require travel initially to get to know the customer. Length is little tricky to answer at the moment. I would go with the initial assumption of 6 months, with high probability of extension. No green card must be US citizen. Overview : Monitor availability and performance of in-scope devices, including backup devices, for up/down status, system faults, and critical alarms as per set thresholds and as alerted by the monitoring tools. Monitor events on the following performance parameters: CPU utilization, memory utilization, disk utilization and critical services. Restart backup jobs Respond to alerts and triage Tickets to respective administrative teams as per established priority levels. Perform basic Incident resolution for Severity 1 Incidents to aid in problem isolation and troubleshooting based on standard operating procedure agreed to by the parties. Raise, assign, or escalate tickets with other teams or vendors/third parties for Severity 1 Incidents and coordinate towards issue resolution. Coordinate with the Service Desk for Severity 1 outages to ensure better communication and resolution processes. Provide mutually agreed reports as per timelines/schedules such as: Weekly report of availability and performance of servers and operational reports such as summary of issues handled for the week. Manage in scope storage and SAN switches. Troubleshoot and maintain storage environment. Perform quota and rights administration. Create NFS/SMB file shares. Configure replication. Create and map LUNs/volumes to appropriate servers Coordinate with principal vendor support for hardware component and performance issues Execute OS upgrades, security patches, bug fixes and install/update required agents.
