The Master Data Management (MDM) Developer will be responsible for applying MDM strategies, requirements and policies aligned to the companys vision, and supporting an MDM implementation. The MDM candidate should posse the skills to design and develop the information architecture for a robust MDM platform using defined Master Data Management strategies, implementing MDM services and capabilities. The position will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of MDM objects including hierarchies, workflows, match & merge, survivorship rules, data import/export, batch processes, visualization, and user interface design. A qualified candidate must have experience working with MS SQL Server databases developing high-quality database solutions and possess in depth knowledge of database design and optimization. A candidate must have experience developing and maintaining scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell. This position requires a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and experience with the utilization and development of RESTful APIs, both custom and existing. This position will also directly support OIAs data architect in the enhancement and maintenance of the Integrated Data System, along with the integration and implementations of TDHs Data Lake initiative. Key Responsibilities: Support development and administration of TDH Master Data Management Support development and maintenance of the Integrated Data System Assist with development and execution of Quality Assurance protocols Support business intelligence design and implementation Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Preferred Bachelors Degree in Public Health and/or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related fields. Consideration for related technical certifications and/or work experience. Significant experience in public health or in the analysis of health data. Direct experience in MDM design, development, support, and operations utilizing an MDM tool suite (3+ years). Experience working directly with a Master Patient Index (MPI) (2+ years). Experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) Server 2012 or later (5+ years). Experience and conceptual understanding of data integration tools and technologies such as Microsoft SSIS and RDBMS concepts and methods within SQL Server. Skills: Experience working with Master Data Management platforms including knowledge of MDM concepts, benefits, best practices, and challenges. Development experience working within Cloud Platform. Stored procedure development and optimization, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development, and complex query development utilizing multiple large data sources using SQL 2012 or later. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Business Intelligence Development, Application Program Interface (API) development. Experience manipulating, customizing, and automating using scripting languages Python/PowerShell. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with commercial off the shelf MDM solution such as Informatics is a plus. Experience in SQL Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Application Program Interface (API) development, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), working knowledge of Database design and implementation, and Healthcare Informatics preferred.
