Title: Power System Planning Engineer (Onsite) Location: Juno Beach, FL PLEASE SEND LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Must-have skills: 2+ y of exp with power system analysis tools including PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen and GE PSLF software; exp with electrical engineering concepts such as power flow, stability, voltage regulation, reactive support etc.; exp with interconnection procedures as defined by ISOs/Utilities/TOs across U.S ; energy exp Requirements: Availability to work 100 % at the Clients site in Juno Beach, FL (required); Experience in interconnection procedures as defined by ISOs/Utilities/TOs across U.S. Experience with power system analysis tools including PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen and GE PSLF software; Experience in electrical engineering concepts such as power flow, stability, voltage regulation, reactive support etc. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Preferred: Experience in power flow analysis, stability studies, voltage studies, technical analysis of disturbances, implementation of regulatory reliability standards Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following: Provide technical expertise to all aspects of generation interconnection processes and operational requirements; Create and validate PSSE, PSLF and PSCAD models for solar, wind and battery projects; Develop software tools that enhance system reliability and organizational efficiency; Ensure compliance with regional modeling requirements for new and existing generation projects; Ensures implementation of standards, policies, training, and support of organization.
