| Role Ab-Initio ETL Developer Location Berkeley Heights, NJ Type of Hire Contract/C2H Duration Long Term Contract Relevant Experience: 8+ Years Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Ab Initio ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality data processing solutions using Ab Initio software. This role demands advanced knowledge of the Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and proficiency in handling large-scale data processing. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio, focusing on performance optimization and scalability. Efficiently convert jobs from legacy technology to Ab Initio graphs, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Utilize advanced knowledge of data modeling, partitioning, and indexes to improve database performance and data retrieval. Collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that align with business objectives. Implement and maintain data pipelines and workflows, ensuring high data quality and accessibility. Optimize existing ETL processes and provide ongoing support for ETL solutions. Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of SQL for database interaction, data manipulation, and query optimization. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Ab Initio ETL Developer with advanced knowledge of GDE and large-scale data processing. Strong understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and indexing techniques. Excellent working knowledge of SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning. Ability to quickly convert legacy ETL jobs to Ab Initio graphs. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of DB2 or other relational databases is highly beneficial. Experience with continuous flows in Ab Initio. Familiarity with other ETL tools and data integration technologies. Experience in cloud computing environments.
