We are actively searching to hire four Golang Engineers to take a hands-on role in leading the company's transformation towards a modern, microservice based architecture, as our client looks to scale their platform 3-5x and deliver new features for their customers. The ideal candidate has significant hands-on experience driving transformation from monolithic architectures to microservices, and additionally has deep experience with event streaming. Our client operates a SaaS running in AWS which ingests massive amounts of IoT data from field assets and mobile devices, powering several reports, real-time alerts, web interfaces, and mobile applications. They are actively decomposing the PHP monolithic application into a domain-driven service model with a React front-end. The current need is for more engineering bandwidth to accelerate the technical transformation and refine the shape of ongoing engineering efforts. These positions will be contract engagements through early 2025 with the possibility for hire along the way. We are starting to interview qualified candidates with a target start date of mid-February.
