Description: Developer roles and responsibilities include managing application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing while delivering high-volume, low-latency applications. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Duration: long term Responsibilities: Develop well designed/efficient code that meets standards Software testing and Debugging Provide documentation related to assigned projects Participate in peer code reviews Recommend patches, re-design, or fixes for existing system Communicate with clients to determine requirements Develop enhancement design documents to convey user and technical requirements. Skills: Life Insurance industry experience in the latest 2-3 projects required. 10+ years experience in Java Object oriented software development SDLC Analytical and Problem solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Hands-on analysis and design experience. Preferred Skills: Annuities Relational database technology RHEL Windows Server 2012+ Docker Kubernetes Jenkins GitHub Git Intellij Experience: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
