Please share resume on [email protected] Lead .NET Developer Schedule: HYBRID in Richmond, VA (2-3 days onsite a week) Interview: IN-PERSON/ONSITE (No flexibility on this) Length: 6 month contract with rolling extensions. Responsibilities: VDOT ITD is looking for a Lead Net developer who will be responsible for leading .NET teams and analyzing complex software requirements to design and develop high quality products. This role is expected to take a lead role within the team, ensuring that programming best practices are being followed, prioritizing work effectively, addressing sprint team and production issues in a timely manner, and design solutions. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions. Responsibilities include designing solutions, coding, and debugging. Hands-on experience with Angular, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and Microservices pattern. Ability to design and code using modern day frameworks such as Angular, Typescript, Blazor, and other web-related technologies. Collaborate with other Sr developers, business analysts, product owners, and IT professionals to develop, lead and implement new features, changes, and enhancements to existing complex software applications. Experience with Docker and Azure cloud services such as AKS, Azure functions, Azure Container Service, Azure App services, Azure API Management. Experience working with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Bricks and Python is a huge plus. Well-versed with Agile practices. Requirements: Strong experience with database development using SQL Server or Oracle. Lead experience on .NET applications. Lead experience on .NET Core and microservices.
