Must be someone living in MA, CT, RI, NH, ME, VT, or NY would be best as they have to go into the office easily. Coding Test: A coding test will be conducted, consisting of simple coding assessments for .NET and React. Candidates should be proficient in using hooks and, in the case of .NET, be able to write simple code to integrate APIs. These Staff Engineer positions emphasize hands-on coding as a crucial skill, though not the top skill. Description: Responsibilities: As a Back End Staff Engineer, you will: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable back-end services and APIs using C# and Azure. Apply domain-driven design and microservice architecture principles to create high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with front-end engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and user satisfaction. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing back-end performance and efficiency. Mentor and coach junior to mid-level engineers, sharing best practices and knowledge. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need: 6 years of engineering experience with a focus on mentoring junior to mid-level engineers. Strong experience with C#, Azure, and other back-end technologies. Expertise in domain-driven design, microservice architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud computing. Experience in building high-traffic, high-reliability, and secure back-end applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in implementing pipelines for web applications in Github Actions and deployments using ArgoCD. Experience with Bicep and ARM templates.
