| Title: SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Visa: No H1B/OPT MOI: Skype Need LinkedIn Position Overview: This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining the AWS, UNIX/Linux & Windows database infrastructure. This position is responsible for maximizing computer availability and performance as it relates to the AWS (RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB), Oracle, SQL server databases on-prem as well as in the AWS Cloud. This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to the entire IT staff in database construction and access methodologies. Required Skills: Providing technical programming insight and recommendations to the entire IT staff for: AWS Cloud Migrations, Oracle, SQL server & SAP HANA databases. Researching system problems and managing the resolution of these problems through internal Senior Database Administrator or vendor technical support. Hands on experience on ASM and Clusterware on RAC/Non-RAC databases. 10+ years supporting enterprise database environments both on-prem and in the Cloud. Well versed in UNIX/Linux/Windows database systems 10+ years of SQL Server DBA experience 10+ yeas of Oracle DBA experience 2+ years of SAP HANA database experience 2+ years of RDS or Postgres experience Strong understanding of AWS -- Keywords: database information technology |
