JOB DESCRIPTION: Role: .NET Developer - Airline Domain Location: Houston, TX Client: United Airlines Duration: 12+ Months Note: Senior Level candidate (greater than 8 yrs exp.). Manager wants candidates to be in HOUSTON, as need to go into Office. Job Description: Job Summary: Program and build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. Primary Responsibilities: Participate in requirements analysis Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages Test and deploy applications and systems Revise, update, refactor and debug code Improve existing software Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support Qualifications: Proven experience as a .NET Developer Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)) Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3 Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC) Understanding of Agile methodologies - Minimum 2 years of hands on experience with foundational AWS Services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Cloud Trail, Cloud Front, Lambda, EKS, ECS, etc.) - Minimum 8 years of hands on experience with .NET technologies - Understanding of server less technologies, services and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.) - Experience working with team members in agile development environment where continuous integration and continuous delivery are critical - Experience with security principles: Authentication, authorization, OAUTH, SAML, public-private key encryption, asymmetric encryption, symmetric encryption, token validation, encoding, single sign-on - Experience with end to end CI/CD solutions using platforms like TeamCity - Knowledgeable with microservices and how they are applied in a cloud environment - Support development to maximize cloud native adoption - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or 10 years of equivalent work experience required. - Must have good communication skills -- Keywords: csharp continuous integration continuous deployment sthree information technology golang Texas |
