Key Requirements: 8+ years of proven experience working with US companies. 4+ years of recent (within the last 4 years) banking or brokerage experience. Valid and up-to-date IBM DBA/DB2 LUW certification (please include when submitting your resume). Extensive expertise with DB2 LUW Version 9.7, 10.5. Proven experience in HADR/Q-Replication and IBM Change Data Capture. Proficiency in multiple languages and tools. Hands-on experience with Salt scripting. Responsibilities: As a Senior DB2 Database Administrator, you will be responsible for: Administering the build-out and support of DB2 LUW databases. Conducting capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning, and monitoring. Configuring and maintaining database security, with a focus on automation for task streamlining. Performing performance tuning, problem diagnosis and resolution, and participating in multi-discipline triage of enterprise-wide incidents. Administering and troubleshooting ETL processes for decision support stores and data warehouses. Participating in a 24x7 production on-call rotation and providing support for production issues.
