| Role: Vista Viewpoint payroll business analyst Start Date: 2/5 LOA: 3-6 months The client is looking to engage a business analyst to help in their vista viewpoint area. The existing resource leaves on 2/6 and replacing them with a more technical resource. They use Vista as an erp and have gl, ar, ap, job cost, service management and run payroll in it, but ukg is hr and feeds vista all the hr details to put this together and calculate that together to adp who then delivers the payroll. Payroll is complex with multiple states, need to set up and payroll department isn't strong. It was timekeeping department and now getting more involved, corporate IT did processing. When moved from oracle to vista they have to do that themselves. The person whom was in the role was a strong end user support, but wasn't strong enough in general IT tasks like configuration and set up with IT tasks. The ideal skill set breakdown would be: 35% programmer 50% business analyst 15% user support Business pushes problem to IT, taxes for example etc. Knows how to set up system and handle areas of those things. They need the system person to do this work not just the end user support person. User support doing driving and training and rules of road etc, but the ba design the car. The mechanic is programmer to put the car together. Need someone with the full skill set and wider range of those skills. Would like to have more engineer and pieces with programs running behind Vista by viewpoint in payroll module and they on version 2023 r1. They are no union, 7k employees and around 5000 hourly and 2000 salary employees and a global organization.
