Expert Level experience with MS Access Lean Six Sigma Certified a big plus Prosci Certified a big plus City of Seattle experience a big plus Utility experience a big plus Access Control Experience (Keycard) a plus TWO Parallel Projects: Project 1 Business Requirements Gathering / Business Process Mapping for homegrown MS Access Applications In collaboration with developer and engineer, fully document homegrown MS Access applications, (26 identified to date), along with associated as-is business processes, to an extent that if the developer were to leave the client another MS Access expert would be able to debug any issues that might arise. Document user requirements for each of the 26 home grown MS Access applications - what must it do from a business perspective, essentially why it matters and explore other options to consider vs. maintaining status quo. In collaboration with assigned Business Architect, evaluate options and develop a short-term plan to manage the applications as is starting in July 2024, along with a long-term plan to move off the non-supported version of Access to supported version or entirely different applications as appropriate Project 2 Business Analyst for Physical Access Control Upgrade Recommend and assess impacts of changes that enable the project to achieve its goals; captures, analyzes, and document requirements; and support the communication and delivery of those requirements to the stakeholders. Organizational Change Management and Business Process Mapping. Learn the PACS (Physical Access Control System) functionality. Align with teams for end-user communications plan with implementation timeline.
