Job Position : NC FAST Sr. Systems Administrator Job Location : Durham, NC Job Duration : 12 Months Job Description: Skills: Knowledge and experience of administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat and Jboss Required 7 Years Knowledge and experience working with following operating systems: RHEL and Windows Servers. Requiered 5 Years Knowledge and experience in name and ip-based virtual hosts, and clustering/load-balancing technologies. Required 7 Years Experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing/debugging, and application deployment. Required 7 Years Experience in container resource configuration (JDBC, JMS, et al), and security configuration. Required 2 Years Experience with J2EE application building/deployment techniques and tools including, but not limited to Ant, Maven, Ivy etc Required 3 Years Experience with automation technologies for the related platforms (OS and Application) such as Ansible, UNIX shell script, Perl, Python, etc. Required 2 Years Knowledge and experience with hardware specs evaluation, platform sizing/capacity planning to support an enterprise application hosting environment. Required 2 Years Experience in creation and configuration of AWS EC2 instances using CFT scripts and installing applications for various components.
