Position: Senior Financial Analyst, No H1B Location: Remote, but candidates must live no further than 2 hours from Los Angeles Duration: 12+ Month MOI: Phone and Video MUST HAVES: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required Minimum Experience/Knowledge: 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting) AND financial analysis experience in a hospital or similar environment (Information Technology knowledge a plus) Experience as a Senior or Lead financial/budget analyst with the ability to train and develop lower-level analysts Experience developing new financial reports and tracking and reporting on KPIs Financial Analysis (be able to analyze and explain financial data) Budget/Variance Analysis (be able to research and explain budget variances) Excel (v-look ups, pivot tables, sum-ifs); experience creating and working with large linked excel files Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts Experience creating, building and maintaining financial models Experience working with a major financial ERP (i.e. Infor Lawson) Experience working with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and external vendors Must be extremely detail oriented Must be able to multi-task and meet multiple competing deadlines Must be a reasonably quick learner.
