Java skills are important and needed as it is the native language of Hadoop and MapReduce. So the candidate should have expertise in this area as well as experience dealing with very large datasets of over 20 million records at a time. The engineers will also be performing other duties like maintaining data, managing frameworks, and transforming data from other sources to Cassandra. Candidates must have extensive HIGH-LEVEL experience working with Java, Cassandra, Hadoop and MapReduce and it must show on the resume. Keywords: information technology |
