Position: Release Manager, No H1B (w2 only) Location: Addison, TX/Chicago, IL /(Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Month MOI: Phone and Onsite 1 - Webex IV, 1 onsite IV....both interviews will be 1 hour. Plan/Execute on Releases.....two MUST-HAVE skills 1. Jira proficiency - queries/stories/epics objects. How to use Jira in Agile Delivery Model and understand movement from the environment to environment (Dev, Test, Prod) Generate Jira Dashboards and Reports with updates 2. Remedy proficiency to "manage changes" - Change requests, CRQs, Dev activities, approval steps. Must have good Comm skills both verbal and written, be able to communicate with very large teams to Develop Code and deploy Code in a Low environment. End to End Release Management - generate reports, coordinate bugs/fixes, confirm completed before regression test and get sign off, dry run in production -1 environments, create task lists, have all parties involved (database, Unix team, storage) make sure they understand their lead times and are actively engaged to delivery with their interdependencies and monitor progress..... The candidate should have some weekend and evening availability as it relates to the release cycles. Release dates are set in stone and there is no change so the person MUST have great coordination skills with the Teams mentioned above. Proficiency in both Jira and Remedy is a must...they have another tool called "release manager" and if that tool does not pull the needed information for a report, the candidate must then pull items manually from Jira and Remedy....must have a process mindset to be successful.
