Please let me know your interest in the below role- Role: LEAD QA Location: 100% remote Visa : USC/GC Duration: 6+Months Interview: Assessment then Video LinkedIn Required Top Skills Required for this Position: SQL (6+ years) expert proficiency PL/SQL (6+ years) strong knowledge Hibernate / MyBATIS JPA (8+ years) Strong automation experience Toad / SQL Developer / PL SQL Developer or similar tools (7+ years) SVN/Git - (3+ years) AWS familiarity (certification preferred, but not required) ETL tools like Pentaho Kettle, Informatica (3+ years) Unix shell scripting, batch processing and Crontab. (3+ years ) Lead development of software solutions that meet or exceed business requirements; development effort includes designing and implementing SQL modules to system specifications, conducting unit testing, troubleshooting issues and producing detailed design documents and proposals to resolve issues. Develop SQL and PLSQL with various relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server. Debugging and performance tuning of complex queries and stored procedures. Data transformation and loading using ETL tools like Pentaho Kettle, Informatica. Data Flow Mappings to extract data from source system and Loading to Target using Pentaho Kettle. Analyze, investigate and suggest appropriate efficient ways for data shrinking and archiving of large databases. Resolving on-going maintenance issues, code reviews, testing and bug fixes. Optimize mappings and implementing complex business rules by creating re-usable transformations, mapplets and PL/SQL stored procedures. Transformation of data from staging to the test and production environments. Lead and mentor entry and mid-level developers. Assist other developers in resolving issues by providing guidance and training. Consult on requirements elicitation and definition. Evaluate new solutions, tools and products. Unix scripting, batch job schedulers and Crontab. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills and Experience: Expert proficiency in SQL Programming: Strong knowledge in PL/SQL programming languages, and expert skill in at least one (preferably Oracle) is required. Extensive knowledge of the most prevalent and trusted technical discussion boards, portals and knowledge sharing internet sites for help with technical challenges. Knowledge of policies, standards, procedures, and techniques used for application development is required. Strong ability to think logically and structurally and have attention to detail is required. Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences. Strong Analytical skills and strong Communications skills, both written (with emphasis on technical documentation) and verbal, are required. Ability to work independently on any size of project. Educational Requirements and/or Certifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and minimum 5 years of related work experience.
