The ideal candidate will possess significant Golang experience along with fundamental DevOps skills to design and code services, create scaffolding, test harnesses, and assist in managing dev/test environments. This role will be instrumental in leading development efforts, creating robust systems, and ensuring the validation of software through unit and integration tests. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of services, scaffolding, and test harnesses, primarily utilizing Golang. Collaborate closely with the team to architect and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions. Assist in managing development and testing environments as required, leveraging basic DevOps skills with Kubernetes. Create unit and integration tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of the developed software. Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices. Drive innovation and maintain high standards of software craftsmanship throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Software Development role, with a focus on leadership responsibilities. Significant expertise in Golang programming, demonstrating proficiency in designing and coding services. Basic DevOps skills for managing development and testing environments. Proven ability to create test harnesses, unit tests, and integration tests for software validation . Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to architect and implement scalable software solutions. Experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
