| Java Developer New York, NY / Dallas, TX( 5 day onsite) Contract Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java -based applications and software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, analyze user needs, and develop innovative solutions. Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Requirements: Expertise in Java with minimum 8 years of experience and with fair knowledge of the language specification. Hands on in JSF/Spring/Struts or any MVC Framework. Experience/Knowledge in Java Script Framework like Angular, Vue, Ext JS, React JS. Strong knowledge of HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS 3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Must have extensive experience in developing micro service-oriented architecture / Web services, SOAP / REST API. Experience with JDBC, micro services, Docker, XSLT, JSON, Rest, angular JS including socket programming. Hands on multithreading experience, including race conditions, deadlocks, debugging, etc. Working experience in MYSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL would be a plus. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Well versed with Cloud Development technologies and Microservices architecture. CICD pipeline understanding, CICD tools such as Jenkin, Github etc. Experience designing data flows e.g. streaming, batch processing, parallel execution (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.) Experience in industry proven API Gateway.
