Title: Senior Oracle VBCS Developer Location: Remote Job Type : Contract Job description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Oracle VBCS developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying innovative and impactful solutions using Oracle VBCS. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement complex web applications and integrations using Oracle VBCS Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure application quality. Document code and technical solutions Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Oracle VBCS and related technologies. Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team. Qualifications: 5-8 years of total experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) using Oracle products, 2-3 years of relative VBCS experience. Develop, test, debug, and maintain web applications using Oracle VBCS with SaaS, OIC and Oracle Cloud Database. Experience translating wire frames and high-level designs into working code. Experience developing web and mobile applications using responsive design. Good working experience on webservices (REST and SOAP) and Java Script. Experience in ATP (Autonomous Database for Transaction Processing) is a plus. Better understanding on PaaS components along with hands-on in VB configuration Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies like Git, CI/CD pipelines etc.. Proficiency in PL/SQL for database interactions and stored procedures. Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services (OCI) Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles. Experience with version control systems like Git and branching strategies.
