The candidate will develop enhancements and new functionality for our in-house suite of applications written in Cobol. Responsibilities will include creation of technical specifications, architecting high-end solutions, hands-on development, creating test plans according to State Streets published Development Process Framework and providing production support. Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Sr. Cobol Developer. Experience with Fujitsu NetCobol or MicroFocus Cobol. Experience with relational databases required (Sybase a plus). MQ, Unix and Unix shell scripting. Solid experience in full software development cycle, including application architecture, technical specs, analysis, software development, testing large-scale software applications, assisting SQA teams with UAT testing, production support.
