Bachelors Degree Required 8 + Experience with Implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco VoIP solutions Deep knowledge of routing protocols including and knowledge of Internet concepts and routing architecture Proven experience working with high performance network switches (Arista or other fabric switches). PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS & SKILLS CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, CCNP Route and Switch. or equivalent experience In-depth knowledge of the OSI Model and TCP/IP In-depth knowledge of network protocols such as Spanning Tree Protocol and OSPF In-depth understanding of CoS / QoS techniques, latency, jitter, packet loss, and bandwidth utilization Expert-level troubleshooting skills of Cisco VoIP infrastructure systems In-depth knowledge of routing protocols including, OSPF, RIP, BGP, ECMP Extensive understanding of general network security and firewall issues. Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of the data and voice network infrastructure. Troubleshoot VoIP issues in a multi-vendor switch environment. Monitor and maintain all network and security activity, responding to automated alerts to prevent and/or minimize network outages. Ability to learn and respond to demands in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
