Location: Hybrid - NYC (3 days a week) first choice or Jacksonville, FL (3 days a week) second choice. They are looking for a senior person and in office as mentioned is a must. Its within their infrastructure team. You need to do the quality check and comm skills check too. I cannot take any risk here and if selected the candidate shouldnt drop. Summary : Looking for a Cloud Engineer to come and join our team. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Fanatics Holdings AWS environment supporting the infrastructure needs of the technology team. This Engineer prepares performance and cost-optimal cloud services to deliver infrastructure aligned with reference architecture standards, frameworks, and patterns. Responsibilities : Design, develop and maintain networking, compute, storage, and security using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation etc. Develop and implement DevOps practices using GitHub Actions or similar tools. Experience in observability, monitoring, alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as CloudWatch, Spunk. Conduct root-cause analysis for service interruption issues and provide resolutions. Create and maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures using tools such as Confluence and Lucidchart. Plan and build Cost effective Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions including provisions for high availability and disaster recovery. Assist in on-call rotation. Qualifications : Demonstrated, hands-on experience managing a public cloud environment at scale, with a strong emphasis on the foundational services of AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, etc.) Experience with Terraform, Ansible or similar Infrastructure as Code (IAC) for infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), or Single Sign-On (SSO) is a plus. Working knowledge with Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerized services. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python). Knowledge and experience with network security configurations and Cloud security best practices Understanding of networking and security best practices in the cloud. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred.
