Immediate interview and closable position. 100% placement Position Role: Product Designer Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Duration: 18+ Months Job Description: We are looking for a skilled contract designer with a focus on web design to work on with client team. We collaborate with engineers, product managers, and some of the world's best designers, researchers, and content designers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. In this role, youll work to impact and evolve our design framework across all locations and shape the future in our mission to help our customers get anything. What youll do: Create high-quality solutions that improve on the Eats experience Help evolve our design system across mobile web, desktop, and embedded web products in app. Build wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs based on our UI framework to solve difficult UX problems Draw from existing brand guidelines and standards to maintain consistency across design language and patterns Create detailed documentation for our Figma source of truth Present work in a range of mediums and fidelities throughout the design process. Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise our bar for quality. Partner with product designers and engineers to ship high quality designs Ship, measure, and improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback. What youll need: Proficiency with the latest tools to build design. Figma expertise is required. Experience building products for Android, iOS, and web. A portfolio showing your high quality UX/UI work, with strong examples of beautiful web - products Fast-paced and organized with the ability to prioritize projects concurrently. Strong understanding and application of user-centered design methods and principles. Experience working and collaborating with teams with varied strengths in a multifaceted, rapid-growth environment. Ability to strongly articulate your design work and rationale to your peers and cross-functional team. Experience working within existing design systems and building new components Effective prototyping skills. A degree in HCI, Graphic Design or a related field is preferred. Other points - It is a fully remote role, PST timezone is preferred though. Someone who is specialized in the web, having mobile experience will be helpful as the job involves translating many mobile templates to web (desktop and mobile web, both). The candidate will work with product managers, other visual designers and engineers on the team on a daily basis. Will have to maintain source of truth from documentation standpoint. Someone with experience on Enterprise products, shopping sites, ecommerce products is highly preferred over someone with experience on working with backend systems or designing tools websites for a company.
