Expertise in IAM, resource management, security best practices, and networking within the GCP ecosystem. Experience using infrastructure as code tools for cloud infrastructure management (preferably Terraform) Highly knowledgeable and experienced in security and compliance, with the ability to implement VPC, utilize Cloud Security Command Center, and manage cryptographic keys. Experience setting up Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud VPN, and Cloud Interconnect for optimal network performance. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy landing zone architecture on GCP for Genesys Cloud and third-party data center integrations. Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud resources and services. Managing identities and access using Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) to define and enforce roles and permissions. Organize and oversee cloud resources effectively using Resource Manager and ensure cost-efficient infrastructure with Cloud Billing. Implementing comprehensive security measures including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Cloud Security Command Center, and Cloud Key Management Service to protect data and maintain compliance. Designing and managing networking solutions to guarantee secure and reliable connections, employing services such as Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud VPN, and Cloud Interconnect. About the Role: The GCP Architect will design and implement landing zone architecture on Google Cloud Platform, tailored for integration with Genesys Cloud and third-party data centers. The GCP Architect will ensure the architecture supports high availability, security, networking, and scalability. This role requires complete understanding of cloud infrastructure, and must have hands-on experience with infrastructure as code; specifically Terraform.
