Write clean, self-documenting code, following standard processes on coding incorporating unit testing. Collaborate with the Senior Application Architects and other technical contributors at all levels during the application development and resolve application defects identified during System Integration and User Acceptance Testing Phases Provide on-going maintenance support for the applications during post-deployment support phase. Standards is aware of technology standards and understand technical solutions need to be consistent with them Independently follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions Participate in code reviews, Sprint meetings and retrospectives Talents Needed for Success: Minimum of 5 years of related experience Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in COBOL, JCL and related MF technologies: o Excellent knowledge in COBOL and JCL o Excellent Mainframe skills o Excellent DB2 knowledge o Good knowledge of MQ o Good knowledge of CICS o Working knowledge of XML is a plus Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Experienced in working with a geographically separated (onshore + offshore) team Additional Qualifications/ Knowledge Good working experience with Changeman, Intertest, Xpediter Experience working with Oracle Knowledge of JSON is a plus Keywords: message queue |
