Role: QA Manager Location: 100% Remote Duration: Long-term contract Looking for fucntional guys not for techinical Scope of Work The Vendor and its staff who are selected to provide services under this Work Request will provide work as described herein and in the work order sent to the winning Bidder. Develop a formal, baseline QA Plan and present for approval within the first 30 days of the engagement. The QA plan will be updated as needed over the life of the Project. Conduct an initial assessment within 30 days of starting and independently deliver this assessment to the Project Manager, Executive Sponsor and the State Chief Information Officer (CIO). Complete routine assessments and reports as outlined in Contract. Deliver draft and final QA reports, including findings and recommendations, to the project manager, Executive Sponsor and to the State CIO or designee. Make QA reports available to the project team and the project Steering Committee; and provide regular and routine briefings at the project team and project Steering Committee meetings. Post all final QA reports to the State CIO Project Dashboard within two working days of delivery. Meet with the Project Manager, Executive Sponsor and the OCIO on a routine basis to discuss the overall health of the Project and emerging issues and risks. Routinely brief the project team and Steering Committee on these same issues. Provide early visibility to the Project staff and the Executive Sponsor of emerging or escalating risks. Attend and present at other external oversight briefings as invited. Periodically meet with the WA.Gov Resident Portal project team and OCIO to review QA provider performance and identify opportunities to improve the value of the service being delivered. Provide a description in your response of your approach to complete these deliverables. a. Minimum five years of recent (within the past 10 years) experience successfully performing the QA activities outlined in the Minimum Project Quality Assurance Activities Standard on a project with up to M total project planned spend, OR b. Minimum five years of recent (within the past ten years) experience as a lead or deputy project manager providing the successful project management services on an information technology (IT) project of similar or greater size, risk, and complexity when compared to the project being undertaken. c. A combination of prior QA or PM experience totaling five or more years in the past 10 years.
