Knowledge of customizing settings related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling. Integration Skills: Understanding of how SAP FICO integrates with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) to ensure end-to-end business process integration. Knowledge of integration with third-party systems for a holistic data flow. Data Migration: Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools to facilitate the smooth transfer of financial data during system implementations. Familiarity with tools like LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) for data migration. SAP S/4HANA: Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and the implications for SAP FICO functionalities. Knowledge of migration strategies from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. Reporting Tools: Proficiency in SAP reporting tools like SAP Report Painter, SAP Report Writer, and SAP Query. Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects for advanced reporting and analytics. Functional Skills: Financial and Accounting Processes: Strong understanding of financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling. Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards and compliance requirements. Business Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough business analysis to gather and document business requirements. Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP FICO configurations. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Understanding of financial planning and analysis processes to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting requirements. Integration of SAP FICO with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation). Tax Configuration: Knowledge of configuring tax-related settings within SAP FICO. Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations. Treasury and Cash Management: Familiarity with Treasury and Cash Management functionalities within SAP FICO. Integration of treasury processes with core financial modules. Cost Accounting: Understanding of cost accounting principles and the ability to configure SAP Controlling (CO) modules accordingly. Overhead Cost Controlling and Product Costing knowledge. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting financial and accounting practices. Ensure SAP FICO configurations align with legal and regulatory requirements. SAP SCM: Strong expertise and experience of SAP S/4 SCM (Supply Chain Planning & execution, Inventory Management, MRP and EWM. Experience with Integrating multiple applications like Ariba, Fieldglass and other Fiori applications. Work with business users to understand their issues and new requirements, perform proof of concepts, prepare solution options, and present it to business users. Roles & Responsibilities Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth business analysis to understand and document financial and accounting requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business needs related to SAP FICO. Solution Design: Design end-to-end SAP FICO solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices. Create functional specifications for custom developments and configurations. Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP FICO modules to meet business requirements. Customize settings related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling. Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) and third-party systems. Collaborate with technical teams to address integration challenges and optimize data flow. Data Migration: Develop and oversee data migration strategies for transferring financial data during system implementations. Work with data migration teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of data transfer. Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with ABAP developers to address technical issues, perform debugging, and enhance system functionality. Provide guidance on technical aspects related to SAP FICO configurations. SAP Fiori and UI5: Leverage SAP Fiori and UI5 technologies to enhance the user experience and streamline financial processes. Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for SAP FICO functionalities. SAP S/4HANA Migration: Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA developments and assess the impact on SAP FICO functionalities. Contribute to migration strategies from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. Reporting and Analytics: Design and configure SAP FICO reporting tools, including SAP Report Painter, SAP Report Writer, and SAP Query. Implement advanced reporting and analytics solutions using SAP BusinessObjects. Training and Documentation: Develop and conduct end-user training programs for SAP FICO functionalities. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and customizations. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Support FP&A processes by configuring SAP FICO to align with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting requirements. Collaborate with financial analysts to optimize SAP FICO for effective financial planning. Compliance and Regulation: Ensure SAP FICO configurations comply with local and international financial and tax regulations. Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting financial processes. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within SAP FICO. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and optimize system performance. Project Management: Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring SAP FICO deliverables align with project timelines and objectives. Provide status updates to project managers and stakeholders. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and end-users, to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of SAP FICO solutions. SAP SCM: Engage and collaborate with IT and business leadership. Leads the project team to design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements.
