The Architect will lead any investigations of new software, frameworks or tools as well as any POCs for the same. This Architect will work closely with Agile teams to implement any solutions in this space. Deliverables Enhance existing features and functionality of our current applications. Interact with both the Product Management and UX/CX teams as well as the Engineering team to ensure feature requests are turned into actionable tech stories. Design full solutions for Search, Catalog Browsing, and Content management. This will include accounting for all data flows necessary to support those functions. Review and recommend when appropriate new tools, frameworks and design patterns. Skills and Experience Must have: Minimum 10 years of experience doing web UI development using APIs Expert knowledge of javascript, Web API, local storage, session management. Experience developing distributed systems using Microservice architecture (event-based), containerization , and cloud platforms Experience with Content Management Systems and third party search tools. Understanding of data needed for large retail (B2C)catalogs. Understanding of edge caching technologies. Outstanding communication skills Strong technical background, needs to guide product managers from the technical perspective, not be a product manager. Nice to have: Large scale retail experience |
