As an IT Auditor specializing in Data Migration with the client dept you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of data migration processes for the client dept Data Migration program. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Analysts, Project Managers, and external vendors, to assess and audit the migration of data from legacy systems to modern platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of IT audit principles, data governance, and the ability to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures. Responsibilities: Data Migration Audit: - Conduct comprehensive audits of data migration processes to identify and address potential risks and issues. - Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry best practices. Quality Assurance: - Collaborate with Data Analysts to verify the accuracy and completeness of migrated data. - Develop and implement quality assurance measures for data migration activities. Documentation: - Maintain detailed documentation of audit findings, including discrepancies and corrective actions taken. - Generate reports for management, highlighting the status and quality of data migration efforts.
