Title: Data Warehousing Engineer (onsite) Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)- LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Duration: Long term Must-have skills: 5+ y of exp in data warehousing, data engineering and dimension modelling; exp building and maintaining ETL pipelines with large data sets using services such as AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis or Kafka; Python development exp with proficiency in Spark or PySpark and in using APIs ; Proficient working with AWS Services such as AWS Lambda, Event Bridge, Step functions, SNS,SQS, S3; Strong in writing SQL queries and performance tuning in AWS Redshift and other industryleading RDMS such MS SQL Server, Postgres; Worked in workfl ow management tools such as Airfl ow; Familiar with infrastructure coding such as Cloud Formation; Worked in CI/CD pipeline and agile methodologies; Familiar with how IAM Roles and Policies work Requirements: Availability to work 100% at the Clients site in Houston, TX (required); Hands-on experience working in data warehousing, data engineering and dimension modelling (5+ years); Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines with large data sets using services such as AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis or Kafka; Strong Python development experience with proficiency in Spark or PySpark and in using APIs; Experience writing SQL queries and performance tuning in AWS Redshift and other industry leading RDMS such MS SQL Server, Postgres; Experience working with AWS Services such as AWS Lambda, Event Bridge, Step functions, SNS, SQS, S3; Experience with how IAM Roles and Policies work Preferred: Experience with workflow management tools such as Airflow; Experience with infrastructure coding such as Cloud Formation; Experience with CI/CD pipeline and agile methodologies; Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for the development and integration of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes; Provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline; Collaborate on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst.
