| From: Ashwani, Gtech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title RWD(Real World Data) consultant Project Location Remote Duration 6 months /Contract Vertex Pharma is the End Client Phone Interview Followed By Skype Skills Required and Job Description: Job Description Responsibilities: Advises on database selection, patient population selection and statistical analysis plans Executes on statistical analysis plans Perform RWD analytics QC including to assess if research project programs are aligned with statistical analysis plans Tracks and archives RWE-A projects in accordance with department standards Remains current on medical coding systems and relevant large healthcare databases; develops and maintains statistical programming skills Leverages all licensed RWD available to address prioritized research questions Serves as expert point of contact for specific RWD Drives excellence in RWD methods in collaboration with RWE COE research leads Actively supports, and may lead, business process development opportunities Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other subject with high statistical content Extensive experience with statistical programming (SAS) and analysis of RWD including open and closed claims, hospital charge master and EHR Experience with advanced statistical methods such as survival and regression Technical competence in efficient SAS programming and other relevant software systems. Attention to detail is critical, as is adhering to standards and procedures. Good organizational and written/verbal communication skills required. Good interpersonal skills are also important. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics or related field and 3+ years statistical programming experience Tableau or Spotfire visualization experience R and Python programming experience Teradata or Amazon Redshift experience Strong study and project management skills Demonstrated ability to design and execute observational research Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, and matrix environment |
