Job title: Project Manager Location: Fully Remote Required Experience: 15 20 Years Skills: Project Management, Legacy Modernization, IBM i, RPG, DB2, PHP Job Responsibilities: Lead the Mainframe Modernization project, focusing on modernizing the legacy mainframe environment Provide project management expertise in technology modernization projects Make decisions and lead efforts in analysis, design, development, testing, training, and implementation Collaborate with partners to deliver solutions that benefit the client Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close) Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources as needed, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project Manages projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, contractors, and vendors Manage the scope, risks, issues, deliverables, and schedule of individual project tasks Interface with customer executive level management on a regular basis Plans and facilitates Agile activities, including PI Planning, Backlog Refinement, Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-up, Iteration Review, and Iteration Retrospective Conduct regular meetings with the program manager and project team, documenting status of project including technical, schedule and financial issues that may be present Review all startup and planning documents Develop and maintain (e.g., tracking, updating, reviewing) the project plan and schedule Establish and enforce the use of the projects Change Control process Establish and enforce the use of the projects Communication Plan Preferred Qualifications: IBM Mainframe and DB2 Modernization knowledge and experience as a project manager Experience managing large complex projects Should have handled $8-10M worth projects Experience in Mortgage Domain Experience working with RPG Should be proficient in co-ordination between EPMO, Development, QA and Vendors Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies Proficiency in Project Online, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Superior communication and interpersonal skills Qualifications: Ten years of professional level experience Project Management Associate Certification -- Keywords: quality analyst information technology Colorado |
